Your answers never leave your device
Every screening on this site is scored by JavaScript running in your own browser. Your answers are held in the page's memory and are gone the moment you close or reload the tab. Specifically:
If you close the tab halfway through, that progress is simply gone. That is deliberate, and the tradeoff is worth it.
The one exception: the contact form
At the end of each screening there is an optional form for requesting a call from our admissions team. That form is the only thing on this site that transmits anything. If you fill it in and submit it, we receive what you typed and, unless you uncheck the box, your score and answers, so that whoever calls you has context and you do not have to start over.
If you never submit that form, we never receive anything about your screening.
What we do collect
This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard web request data (IP address, browser type, requested page) in order to deliver pages and block abuse. Any analytics, if enabled, are configured to record which pages were visited and whether a screening was started or completed, never which answers were selected.
Guardian Recovery's full privacy policy and notice of privacy practices govern any information you choose to send us, including protected health information you may share when speaking with our admissions team.
Instruments and attribution
These screenings reproduce published clinical instruments. Each screening page cites its source and permission terms in full at the bottom of the questions and again on the results page:
